In 2008 a new performing arts centre incluing a small recital hall was built at Latymer Upper School. A new pipe organ was planned from the outset, and was installed in April 2009. The organ sits in a purpose-designed recess at the front of the hall, within large full-height doors which can be closed in front of the organ when the hall is required for other uses. The instrument will be an ideal vehicle for tuition and practise, as well as for use with small instrumental groups, and for solo recitals.
