Suspended tracker key action : Mechanical stop action
Slider soundboard : Shifting movement pedal to silence upperwork
This instrument is the four stop version of our standard range of continuo organs. The keyboard can transpose to A=415, 440 and 465, and it is also possible to tune at A=430. A shifting movement pedal silences all stops above 8 foot pitch when depressed, a useful feature for the verse anthem repertoire. The casework is made of Afrormosia, and bears the arms of the Cathedral on the centre panel
Similar instruments are in regular use by professional orchestras and Cathedrals, and a three stop organ is available for hire. Please contact us to enquire about pricing and availability.
