The case of this organ is made of solid Canadian Maple with key coverings also of Maple and Rosewood, matching the sanctuary furniture. In contrast the console, pipe shades and Subbass pipes are made of American White Oak. The striking prospect is the result of placing the pipes in four groups, each pipe standing at the interval of a major third from its neighbour. This layout is adopted internally throughout the organ, and encourages good blending of chords. For compactness, the pedal Subbass shares the lowest eighteen notes of the manual Stopped Diapason rank from tenor c.
